Purple Cow The
My nephews love to walk in here and play with all the wooden toys, it makes a nice change from all the electronic beeps of toys with batteries. It hearkens back to a simpler life; this toy store is a lovely place to go.
Harlow's Do-Nut & Bakery
This is a nice hometown donut shop (with the kind of donuts that taste like grandma used to make). It brings back memories just to walk in the door. I like the donut holes too, they're my favorite thing to eat!
Mirror Image Salon
I have heard many good things about this salon, so I called to make an appointment. It took a while, but I was finally booked for a hair cut. I went in and had it done, and I LOVE it!

The Cottage is a traditional American restaurant, but they have a very good selection of seafood. I like any kind etoufee served here and stuffed crab. The selection of brushes and combs is really good. I was looking for a certain type of comb, and I found it!

Hampton Inn & Suites Alexandria
This Hampton Inn is very new and clean. Everything was very nice and comfortable. When I checked in to the hotel, the person at the desk was very nice and helpful when I mentioned I needed assistance getting my luggage to the room.
